A groundbreaking ceremony will be part of this year’s Veterans Salute.The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Bryant Commons in Hinesville. Admission and parking are free, but partial proceeds from the sale of food, drinks, raffle tickets and other activities will benefit the creation of a Veterans Memorial Walk. Veterans Salute will include live entertainment, food and drink booths, craft vendors, corn-hole tournaments, a 50/50 raffle, silent auction, parachute landings and a motorcycle show with prizes.
