Wreaths for Warriors Walk presented a ceremonial wreath to Hinesville Mayor Jim Thomas during a small ceremony Dec. 12 in Hinesville’s Victory Park.

The wreath is one of seven ceremonial wreaths that are incorporated into the annual Wreaths for Warriors Walk ceremony.

One wreath is presented to each city bordering Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield — Hinesville, Glennville, Pembroke, Richmond Hill and Savannah — and one wreath is placed at the Fort Stewart Desert Storm Memorial and the Vietnam Memorial.
