Jeff Mobley of Liberty County was appointed on November 12, 2025 to the Coastal Soil and Water Conservation District. He will serve the Conservation District for a two-year term.
Supervisor Mobley is a lifelong resident of Liberty County. He grew up working in the dairy business with his family for over 20 years. Later on he was a retail business owner in Hinesville before retiring. From a young age, he has always enjoyed spending time outdoors, to include hunting, fishing, farming, and spending time with family.
The Coastal Soil and Water Conservation District is a unit of state government that directs natural resource management programs in Chatham, Bryan, Long, Liberty and McIntosh counties. The district works with farmers, landowners, homeowners, and with other units of government to educate and actively promote programs and practices that support the conservation, and use and development of soil, water, and related resources.
