‘Mother Goose’ Lufburrow turns 100

Margie Kozma Lufburrow, owner and teacher of “Mother Goose” kindergarten for more than 25 years in Hinesville, turned 100 on October 14. She is still remembered and loved by her many “goslings.”

She was honored with a party Saturday, October 11, given by her family and a few friends at Magnolia Manor in Midway, where she now resides.

Those in attendance were her son Donnie Kozma of Aiken, S.C., daughter Sally Flowers of Valdosta, grandson Drew Kozman of Hinesville, great-granddaughter Andi Kozma of Hinesville and friend Ainsley.

Also in attendance were nieces Judy Brevard and daughter Theresa of Dallas, Lynda Bennett and husband James of Jackson, S.C., nephew “Butch” Parrish Gardner and wife Debbie of Pittsville, Md., and close friends June Salter of Hinesville and Faye Barton of Midway.
