This week Dryden Enterprises, a Hinesville based home construction company, announced plans to develop a new subdivision, Independence Settlement. 

The site for the neighborhood is off of West 15th Street, outside of Fort Stewart Gate 7. The development is about seven miles from downtown Hinesville. 

In Phase 1 of construction, Independence Settlement will feature 35 homes along Marne Boulevard. Homes built in this development will have city water and sewer connections. Homes will vary in layout and appearance with both one and two-story plans included. 

Construction is underway; the first six homes are scheduled to be completed in November. Sidewalks will also be constructed throughout the development upon completion of each phase.

“We’re thrilled to be constructing this new neighborhood for the families of Hinesville and Fort Stewart. We think it’s a wonderful location to raise a family and convenient for those who may be employed on base,” said Claude Dryden, founder of Dryden Enterprises.
