One teen shot, another in custody

A teen was shot Monday afternoon during an altercation at a home in Hinesville, authorities said.
According to Hinesville Police Chief Tracey Howard, an ongoing dispute between a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old resulted in a shooting on the 400 block of Lancaster Loop shortly after 3 p.m.
The older teen is alleged to have shot the younger teen in the leg. The shooting victim made his way to Lyman Hall Elementary School on Shaw Road, where he was found by authorities, and transported to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville. He was later transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. His condition is stable.
