John Main brought home first place and landed the biggest fish at the Liberty County Bass Club tournament July 10 on the Savannah River. Main caught five fish weighing a total of 7.59 pounds. His 3.72-pound bass was the big-fish winner. The tournament began at the Tuckasee King boat landing in Clyo in northeastern Effingham County.
