Hello out there in the heat:
I hope everyone is enjoying the late summer, but once again let me say, “be careful out there.”

I am happy to say we did get some relief from the heat this past week. There have been some nice catches reported even with the hot weather.
I am so happy that our coast was not too badly hit by the tropical storm. You know what they say, “fishing is good right before the storm and right after.” So good luck out there.

Timmy “The Bluff Master” Blount and Terry Smiley had a nice mess of trout, spottail bass, along with some croaker and sheepshead.
Boo Hall and I hit the docks this past week, but had no luck. I will give it another shot this upcoming weekend. I will let you know how we did.
My good friend Shannon Holdren had a nice freshwater catch this past week, the photos are included.

Well friends it looks the fish are biting, fresh and salt, so get out there and wet a hook. Remember what Old Tight-Line always said. “Get out there and go fishing and, if you do, always remember to keep a tight line.”

That`s it for this week. Until next time living the tight-line life on the South Georgia Coast - Tight-Line Jr.
