Fish didnt take Thanksgiving off
Placeholder Image

Hello, everyone. Sorry I missed you last weekend. I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving.
I have a few reports for you. John Rogers caught the limit on trout last week. He was flying solo. My friend, David Fennel, caught a nice mess of trout during Thanksgiving week.
Mary and Dale Smith and their daughter, Morgan Rogers, caught 38 trout, three flounder and one bass last weekend launching from the Half Moon Marina.
I believe everybody is using live shrimp.
I heard through the grapevine that someone said Tight Line Jr. must have stopped fishing because he never talks about the dock tour anymore. Well, friends, let us put that notion to rest right now. Capt. Hippie and I hit the docks last weekend, and we landed four nice spottail bass and two sheepshead. So now you know the dock tour is alive and well, and we are still at it.
Sounds like the fish are biting, so get out there and wet a hook. If you need bait, Yellow Bluff has live shrimp and minnows.
