Hello, friends. Tight Line Jr. here.

There was a big turnout at the meeting Tuesday night about the waste plant, but not many questions were answered.

I'd like to know who told those people you could plant dead pine trees, and somehow they would come back to life? Money well spent, I say.

Well let’s get back to the fishing reports.

Roger Schofill and party landed 30 sheepshead. Mitch Speers, a.k.a. "Blind Baby," his father, "Daddy Blind Baby," and party netted the limit on trout, four redfish and 10 sheepshead. Add some hush puppies and coleslaw and that’s a fried fish platter.

On the dock tour, we got
one spot tail and eight sheepshead.

Rayburn at Yellow Bluff has live shrimp and minnows. Dana and Ruth at Half Moon say they have live shrimp as well. Joe and Clay at Sunbury Crab Company and Marina have fresh shrimp and live minnows.

Remember what Ole’ Tight Line says, get out there and get fishing and, if you do, always keep a tight line.

I always say, hit the docks, keep a sharp eye and watch that cork go down.

Your buddy,

Tight Line Jr.
