The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host the 13th annual Golf Classic presented by Coastal Electric Cooperative on April 27 at Cherokee Rose Country Club. The chamber will make a donation to the American Cancer Society in honor and memory of Gary Newsome, a former Georgia Power employee and chamber board member who died from cancer. Teams for the four-man scramble compete to place in the top three and win cash prizes.
