The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce will host the 13th annual Golf Classic presented by Coastal Electric Cooperative on April 27 at Cherokee Rose Country Club.

The chamber will make a donation to the American Cancer Society in honor and memory of Gary Newsome, a former Georgia Power employee and chamber board member who died from cancer.

Teams for the four-man scramble compete to place in the top three and win cash prizes.

There are several levels of sponsorships available, in addition to opportunities to provide door prizes or marketing materials in the bags that are handed to all participants.

A hole-in-one sponsor is J.C. Lewis Ford. Sponsors now include Pedrick and Co., Chick-fil-A of Hinesville, Liberty Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, South Georgia Bank, LaQuinta Inn and Suites, Baldinos Giant Jersey Subs and Zaxby’s.
