The Annual Kidz-Etc 5K Fun Run was held Saturday in Ludowici.

Race coordinator Debbi Gaitten said 32 runners entered the competition, the most in the events four year history.

Runners gathered up at the Ludowici Well Pavilion and ran through the city. Kidz-Etc founder Linda Futch said proceeds from the race will go to the Kidz-Etc Scholarship fund which awards scholarships to local students.

The race was held in memory of Meg Williams Gore.

In the women’s division, Karen Higgason won. In the boy’s event, first place went to Bryant Blyman. And in the girl’s event, Hailie Lee had the best time.
