Hello, friends. Tight Line Jr. here and I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Well, enough with the small talk; let’s get right to it.

Lu Smith, fishing with her friend Mia, landed 10 nice trout and five pretty spottail. The ladies also caught a 30-inch spottail, which they released. That had to be fun.

We had a good week on the dock tour, too. Gil Sikes, D.L. Bush, Possum Prosser and I landed 18 beautiful spottail off the dock. We also had a crew go out to St. Catherines this past cold, wet weekend. Lamar Carter, Donald Carter, Kevin Carter, D.L. Bush and B. Lynn came home with a nice mess of spottail and some fresh mullet

Truth be told, Capt. Lamar caught the fish.

Well friends, that’s all I’ve got for this week. I will have a good recipe for all you folks next week, though.

Yellow Bluff is open for live bait. Halfmoon Marina has live shrimp. Sunbury Crab Company and Marina have live shrimp and minnows. And don’t forget Big Rudy at the Sunbury Country has fresh, frozen shrimp and finger mullet, cigar minnows and ballyhoo.

Remember what Ol’ Tight Line always said: Get out there and go fishing and, if you do, always remember to keep a tight line. I always say hit the dock, keep a sharp eye and watch that cork go down. Until next time, happy sailing, my friends. Go wet a hook — it’s good for your health and spirit.

Your buddy,

Tight Line Jr.
