A Brunswick man was killed early Sunday morning on E.G. Miles Parkway near Liberty Regional Medical Center, police said. 

Stephen Gerber, 46, was struck shortly after 12:30 a.m. by Ford Fusion driven by a Hinesville woman, according to to authorities.  

Gerber was taken to Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville where he later died of his injuries. 

The accident is currently under investigation by Hinesville Traffic Accident Investigation Officer Damitrus Styles
