At about 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, the Hinesville Police Department responded to a hold-up alarm at the South Georgia Bank on South Main Street. The suspect wore multi-layer clothing, a hoodie, hat and mask and also was carrying an umbrella. Police believe the suspect was carrying a type of handgun at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
