The court martial of Pvt. Isaac Aguigui will begin on Monday on Fort Stewart and is scheduled to last four days, according to a news lrease from Fort Stewart.

In a Dec. 6 hearing. 6, Aguigui pled not guilty and elected to be tried by the military judge alone. The military judge will hear the case, render a verdict, and determine the sentence if a guilty verdict is made.

Aguigui has been charged with one count of Article 118-murder in the July 17, 2011, death of his wife, Sgt. Deirdre Aguigui, and one count of Article 119a-death of their unborn child under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

In separate, civilian proceedings Aguigui was accused of organizing a militia among mostly solders. It was reportedly looking for ways to overthrow the U.S. government and members have been accused of two murders in December 2011 to cover up their plans.

Aguigui has pleaded guilty to charges in connection with those murders.
