A Savannah man who shot himself to death in front of Savannah police Tuesday is being linked to last week's Bryan County homicide.

According to GBI Agent Cathy Sapp, Carlos Huntley is being closely looked at in Friday's slaying of Savannah man Jack Harley, whose body was found Nov. 27 on Clarkton Road in South Bryan.

Authorities are saying Huntley is also being looked at for the death of his girlfriend, Hinesville native Lakessa Felder. Felder's body reportedly was found on the side of the road near Tallahassee, Fla.

"Despite other media reports, Huntley had no outstanding GBI warrants," Sapp said. "He did have outstanding probation warrants and was actively being looked at by the GBI for Bryan County case."
