Fire destroys uninsured family's home

An uninsured family that consists of a single dad and his two children lost their Liberty County home to fire Monday.
Brian Server said one of his children was just getting off his school bus when he saw their home in flames. The home is in the 1200 block of Reuben Wells Road.
The bus driver alerted 911 and within minutes fire units from Liberty County Station 15, as well as from Hinesville and Walthourville, were on hand to fight the flames, which had engulfed a portion of the home.
A drive to accept donations has been organized. Robert Brant is accepting donations. Call him at 977-3223.
The children are 10 and 12 years old wear large and extra-large clothing. 

Fire Station 15 Capt. Charles Helton said witnesses reported the fire seemed to have started near an electrical box outside the residence, however further investigation will have to determine the cause of the blaze.
