When the holidays arrive, most people are able to spend the time with their families. But for firefighters, police officers, and EMS personnel, the job must go on.
This past Thursday, the firefighters from the Hinesville Fire Department, Station Two, didn’t let having to work stop them from celebrating the day with their families. The crew and their families prepared a full meal which included turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, string bean casserole, potato casserole, bread and more, and had a desert table with chocolate cake, pound cake, Jell-O, pecan pie and peach pie.
The men had a relatively quite shift, and only had a few calls, so everyone was happy. But most of all, the families and the crew were thankful to be together, and to be safe.
