A Glennville teenager reported missing has been found safe in Atlanta, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
The Associated Press ran a story about 8 this morning that 14-year-old Griselda Cibrian was believed to have been abducted Saturday afternoon. Just after 11 a.m., the AJC posted a story on its website saying the teenager was found safe near Norcross.
The newspaper cited Glennville Police as a source.
The Atlanta paper reported that the Georgia Bureau of Investigation reported the girl posed as a 19-year-old in a phone chat line and that a 24-year-old man drove from Norcross to meet her. She apparently left with him.
Reportedly she called her father this morning after hearing her name in the media. She was convinced to surrender. No charges have been filed.
