The man who died in the crash near Midway on Monday evening has been identified as Marco Belgio from the Sunbury area, according Georgia State Patrol Trooper Harry Middleton.  

Middleton said Belgio failed to stop at the stop signs for an unknown reason and plowed into the wood line.

The single-vehicle wreck occurred shortly after 7 p.m. at Charlie Butler and Cay Creek roads.
