Authorities are investigating the shooting of a Hinesville man.

Hinesville Police Department Detective Kyle Larimore said the man was found suffering from a single gunshot wound to the leg in front of his home in the 100 block of Point South Drive around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Larimore said the man, who was bleeding heavily, was unable to provide information and was taken to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.
