• Feb. 8, Aggravated assault, 217 Bradwell St.
A Pineland Avenue man told police he had been stabbed. The man reported he was attacked after he left a friend’s apartment. The man told police his alleged attacker was standing near a trash dumpster when he walked outside the apartment building.
The suspect had a small knife in his hand and threatened to kill him, the man reported. The man told police his alleged attacker slashed at his face and he fought back. It was 20 minutes after the man left the area before he realized he had been stabbed, according to the police report.
The man went to a hospital emergency room and was treated for cuts to his inner arm and lower back, police reported.


• Feb. 9
Burglary, forced entry, residence, 5 Idus Lane

An Idus Lane woman called to report her house was being burglarized. The woman, who had just entered her home, was told by 911 to leave immediately for her own safety.
Police reported the back door to the home was forced open with an unknown object. The master bedroom closest had been ransacked, according to the report. The woman told police several items were missing from the home.
Police reported there was evidence of fresh tire tracks, foot prints and wheel marks in the backyard. A detective was assigned to the case.
