May 12: Criminal trespass — A Richmond Hill man reported the air-conditioning window unit was stolen from a business in the 4000 block of East Oglethorpe Highway in Hinesville. The complainant said the theft occurred sometime between 11 p.m. May 11 and 11 a.m. May 12.

May 13
Criminal trespass — A resident in the 100 block of Club House Drive in Midway reported that a grey jeep hit a mailbox on the block and left the area. The complainant said he was unable to get the tag number. The officer saw the mailbox lying in the driveway but was unable to contact the homeowner.

May 14
DUI and seat belt violation — An Allenhurst man was arrested on one count of DUI and one count of seat-belt violation at 2:20 p.m. at the intersection of Airport Road and Highway 196 in Hinesville. The driver blew a .098 on a breathalyzer test and was handed to booking for processing.
