A man was displaced after his home on the 200 block of Rye Patch Road in western Liberty County filled quickly with smoke Wednesday night. Flames were not visible from the outside, but heavy black smoke could be seen pouring out of the single-story home. Firefighters from Liberty County Station 15 and Walthourville responded.
