March 9: Matter of record — A woman was appalled to find a pack of malicious dogs had mauled her cat outside her Lake George home. The woman said she heard the pack of dogs barking and thought they might have chased her cat up a tree. But she found her cat lying severely injured on the ground.

Criminal trespass — A woman reported hearing noises in her yard and went outside to take a look. She said she saw two men in a dark gray car that was backed up in front of one of her SUVs parked in her yard. The woman said the men spotted her and took off in their car. The woman woke up her husband and told him to go chase them. The man said he left his Lake Roseland Drive home and briefly followed them but he lost them. He didn’t get a tag number.
