Sept. 19: Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, DUI — Two deputies pulled over a truck they noticed weaving over the road. The driver exited with his hands in the air, walked to the rear of his truck and placed his hands on the tailgate.
The deputies smelled alcohol and said the driver was unsteady on his feet. When asked for his license, the driver gave the deputy a Home Depot credit card. He eventually located his license.
The driver refused a field sobriety test and told the deputies to go ahead and lock him up.
The driver consented to a search of his pockets, and one of the deputies found dollar bills coated in a white powdery substance and a clear plastic bag that also contained a white substance.
A narcotics officer was notified, and the driver was arrested and taken to jail.
