May 14: Burglary — A Miller Street resident reported $575 worth of property stolen from his kitchen. Items included a refrigerator, deep freezer, microwave and hot plate. The complainant said he left his home around 8:30 a.m. and returned to find the items missing. He said he locked his door and has no idea how the suspect might have gained entry, but that a contractor in the area said he saw a truck in the complainant’s drive around noon. The responding officer did not note any sign of forced entry.

May 15

Criminal trespass — A woman in the 4000 block of Highway 196 West reported that someone flattened all four tires on her Chevrolet truck sometime between 10:30 p.m. May 14 and 11 a.m. May 15.

Theft by taking — A Chemtall employee reported that someone went into his locker and stole an iPad valued at $600 sometime around 8 a.m. The complainant said he thought the locker was locked.

May 16

Matter of record — A Butter Blount Road resident in Fleming reported that a neighbor was driving his four-wheeler up and down the road while staring at her in a provoking manner.

Theft by taking — A Dunlevie Road woman reported that her roommate stole a recently purchased $350 video camera sometime over the weekend. The complainant said she has tried to contact her roommate, who admitted to taking the camera but had left the state.
