8574 West Oglethorpe, Midway

A woman reported her back door was pried open and two pieces of jewelry were missing from her house. The case was turned over to the detective unit.

Criminal trespass, disorderly conduct
46 Dove Court, Midway

A man was reportedly yelling and cursing at his parents and the deputies when he was asked to leave his parent's property. The parents reported their son moved and was not welcomed on their property. Another man was briefly detained for being on the property with the son but was later released when he worked with the parents to buy their son's truck off their property.

Harassing phone calls
483 Howard Hill Road, Midway

A man was told how to tap and trace calls after he played a message left on his answering machine for the deputy. The man says a former tenant, who was evicted, is making the calls. The deputy reported the calls were threatening.

Burglary-forced entry-residence
369 Otto Drive, Midway

A man reported his house was burglarized and several items taken from the house, shed and a trailer parked outside. Among the items reported missing were tools, an A/C unit, toolbox and some copper wire.

Criminal trespass
1595 Dunlevie, Walthourville

A woman claims a salesman from a meat company damaged her front screen door and window when he came by to collect a payment. She reportedly told the salesman she would pay him at the end of the month. The deputy advised her how to get a copy of the report.

Entering auto
Highway 17, Midway

A deputy responded to a walk-in complaint where a man claimed his rifle was stolen out of his Jeep while it was parked on Highway 17. The man reported he left his vehicle parked off Highway 17 on March 16 around 10:30 p.m. and returned the next morning to find the rifle missing.

Disorderly conduct
425 Edgewater, Midway

A woman called to report her daughter was being harassed at Midway Middle School by several students. The mother claims her daughter kept notes of the taunting. The LCSO called the school principal and arrangements were made to meet with all the parties involved.

Concealed weapon, brandishing a weapon
4500 East Oglethorpe, Hinesville

A woman, who was reportedly upset over a business deal, pulled a gun from her car, loaded a round and allegedly pointed it at a man who had followed her outside while they were arguing. The man claims all he said was that he did not work there when the woman asked him for a pen. He reported that made the woman angry and she began yelling.

Aggravated assault
1024 East Oglethorpe, Flemington

Two men in a fight reportedly fell through a glass window and into a motel room. One man claimed he was in a friend's room drinking when they began to argue. He reported he left the room and the man followed him with a box cutter. He claims the man cut him under his arm and that is when he turned and the fight ensued.

Terroristic threats, simple battery
842 Bill Carter Road, Midway

A man reportedly wielding a knife was arrested for allegedly threatening to kill his daughter when she struck him in the face. The man claims she owes him money and went to collect it. She claims she doesn't owe any money and was defending herself when he grabbed her shirt and tried to push her. The deputy reported her shirt was torn and both the man and woman were bloodied and scarred.
