A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged with killing a 70-year-old Jesup man, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. Jesse Erwin Strickland, 28, is charged with armed robbery, felony murder and malice murder in the death of Arthur G. Westberry, 70, of Jesup, Wayne County Sheriff John Carter announced in a news release issued Thursday. Carter said the Jesup-Wayne County Criminal Investigations Task Force and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation made the arrest.
