A man was shot Friday evening at the Griffin Ridge Wildlife Management Area in Long County on Highway 84, Long County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Tom Sollosi said.

The case is being investigated by the LCSO and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. The victim’s name has not been released. The Courier will post additional information as it becomes available.
