Nov.8 Liberty County Sheriff’s Office deputies, patrolling the area around Dunlevie Road, stopped Cordere Wilcox because his car was allegedly weaving. MACE agents were called to assist when the deputies said Wilcox was found in possession of 17 Xanaflex pills. Deputies said Wilcox stepped out of the car and gave the impression he was about to flee, but reconsidered and began to cooperate.
Reportedly, when Wil-cox arrived at the jail, officials found three small plastic bags that appeared to contain powdered cocaine. Wilcox was charged with DUI refusal, suspended driver’s license, no seatbelt, possession of a controlled substance, possession of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Wilcox had $600 on him. According to MACE, he’s had multiple drug arrests and was on parole when he was apprehended. His bond was denied.


Nov. 9.
Agents were called by the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department to assist in confiscating three plants deputies suspected were marijuana at 930A Live Oak Drive. The deputies reported finding the plants while searching the area after receiving word shots were being fired in the vicinity. The three plants were found in pots inside a boat parked in the yard of the house. Another small plant was found on the front porch. Damion Roman is being charged with manufacturing marijuana.
