Tuesday morning’s jury trial for suspected killer Richard Earl Geiger was postponed until a future date. Geiger’s public defender, Brett Williams, had to leave the court room when he received notification of a family health issue. Geiger allegedly stabbed his girlfriend, Rosie L. Smith, to death after a domestic dispute and reportedly hid her body in the closet of her Raintree Apartments home in March 2007. There are more details about this story in Wednesday's Coastal Courier.
