Long County officers arrested one person and confiscated drugs during an Oct. 17 raid on a Ludowici Apartment.

Sgt. Jake Howard, Sgt. Austin McGinn and a team of Long County deputies served a search warrant during the raid and arrested Aaron J. Lovette, 32, of Hinesville.

During the operation, 27 grams of cocaine, and approximately one ounce of marijuana was seized, according to a news release from the department. Additional evidence relating to illicit drug distribution was identified and also seized.

Lovette has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
