A Liberty County deputy patrolling the St. Johns Road area in Allenhurst around 3 a.m. Saturday following a rash of vehicle break-ins spotted a vehicle speeding through the area. Georgia State Patrol Trooper Jamie Quinn said the deputy, Brandon Calhoun, chased the 2001 Lexus RX 300 driven by Randall Beasley, 45, of Hinesville. The chase ended in the 200 block of South Jefferson Street in Allenhurst.
