On May 29, 2007 Damon A. Hardy was fatally shot in the parking lot of the Regency Terr. Apartment complex when he went outside to break up a group of people who started an argument. Exactly one year later his family and friends gathered at Troop Park, adjacent to the apartment complex, to honor his memory with a candle light vigil.

According to Hinesville Detective Maj. Thomas Cribbs and Doug Snider, the forensic portion of the investigation is completed but they need the community's help to solve the last piece of the puzzle. Click in the window to view the candle light vigil.
