Sentence means killer will spend rest of his life in prison

Kenneth William Lumpkin, 43, pleaded guilty Monday to felony murder and kidnapping with the commission of bodily injury to another person in the September 2010 strangulation death of Lori Arrowood. Atlantic Judicial Circuit Judge Paul Rose presided over the hearing at the Long County Courthouse. As part of the negotiated plea deal, three charges were dropped — one count each of malice murder, aggravated assault and concealing the death of another person.
