The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office conducted a firearms safety class on Feb. 6. The 12 participants were given instruction in the classroom prior to shooting their private guns on a range. The classroom instruction, given by Capt. David Edwards and Capt. Keith Jenkins, covered topics such as weapons safety, gun laws and weapons retention.
