Three Long County men were arrested earlier this week for their alleged involvement in multiple recent burglaries.
Jaylen Christopher Quarterman, 20, Jevante Quimaine Hines, 17, and Jonathan Jeneral Morgan, 20, all face felony charges of burglary in the first degree (forced entry) and theft by receiving stolen property, according to Long County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Tom Sollosi. He said the three were arrested and charged Monday. Hines also was charged with possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana, which is a misdemeanor.
According to Sollosi, the suspects are believed to have been involved in two burglaries in Walthourville near Griffin Road. The suspects allegedly possessed items stolen during those two burglaries, and they had a pistol that was reported missing Sept. 26 in McIntosh County.
“I want to commend Deputy Jamie Jeffers for quickly and effectively identifying the suspects, recovering the stolen property and arresting the offenders,” LCSO Sheriff Craig Nobles said.
