Walthour case reward now $25,000

The reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in connections with the death of Ernie Walthour is up to $25,000, according to Liberty County Sheriff Steve Sikes.
“Our investigation indicates someone out there has the information that could solve this crime,” Sikes said. “For the sake of Ernie’s family and in the interest of justice, I’m appealing to anyone who could help.”
Walthour, well-known for his work with youth sports, was found shot to death early July 1 outside a home near Midway.
The sheriff asked anyone with possibly pertinent information to call
