Another freeze coming tonight

Wind chill advisories are up across Southeast Georgia this morning as the breeze is making the 15-20 degree temperatures seem much colder.

So far, few problems have been reported.

Schools in Long County were to operate as usual. In Liberty County, only teachers were supposed to report back from Christmas break. Students are to report back Wednesday.

Highs in our area today are expected to get into the mid 30s only, according to the National Weather Service and tonight’s lows could again drop into the teens.

So bundle up, hunker down and take care of your pets and outdoors plants. It’s supposed to start warming up again Wednesday. If you have exposed pipes around your house, cover them and drip a faucet tonight.
