When many organizations were shutting down because of COVID-19, the Hinesville Public Library knew the importance of blood being available and went the extra mile to help ensure that options were available to gather blood in the Hinesville community.
On Tuesday, August 8, the team at the Hinesville Library was recognized for its leadership in challenging times.
“Grateful is the word I use to explain how I feel about the library and others who opened their doors when so many were closed,” said Cindi Bauer of the American Red Cross. “The partnership has only gotten stronger over the years.”
