The Liberty County Relay for Life raised more than $192,000 for this year, local chairperson Karen Bell said.

The goal for the year was $100,000 and this year’s Relay for Life drew 44 teams.

The top fundraising team was SNF, with Baconton Missionary Baptist Church in second and the Relay for Life’s leadership team in third.

The 2027 Relay for Life kicks off August 8 with a lip sync contest and the annual Relay for Life event will be held April 30, 2027.
