The Liberty County Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCCVB) is inviting local restaurants to participate in the upcoming Taste & Travel Week, taking place May 3–9. This special event coincides with National Travel and Tourism Week, an annual celebration that recognizes the vital role travel plays in strengthening local economies and communities across the country.

Taste & Travel Week will highlight the diverse culinary offerings found throughout Liberty County while encouraging both residents and visitors to explore local dining destinations.

By aligning with National Travel and Tourism Week, the event emphasizes how local restaurants contribute to the area’s tourism experience and overall economic vitality.

Participating restaurants will benefit from county-wide promotion through the LCCVB’s marketing channels, helping to attract new customers and increase community engagement. Throughout the week, restaurants will have the opportunity to showcase their menus, connect with visitors, and be part of a celebration that highlights the flavors and culture of Liberty County.

“Taste & Travel Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our local restaurants while recognizing the important role tourism plays in our community,” said Leah Poole, president and CEO of the Liberty County Convention & Visitors Bureau. “During National Travel and Tourism Week, we’re proud to highlight the experiences that make Liberty County a welcoming and memorable destination.”

Restaurants interested in participating are encouraged to contact the LCCVB for more information and to sign up. Reach out via email to tourism@libertycounty.org or call 912.368.4445.
