Mims began her healthcare experience with Memorial Health in Savannah as a registered respiratory therapist and served in many leadership roles, including senior vice president of hospital operations.
She earned her Masters of Healthcare Administration was chief operating officer of Effingham Health System in Springfield.
“Tammy was an exceptional leader who made significant contributions to our organization’s success,” Pierce said. “She has graciously relinquished her leadership responsibilities to Derek, and we extend our best wishes for her retirement.”
