The suspect in a Saturday shooting has turned herself in, according to the Hinesville Police Department.
HPD Chief of Detectives Maj. Thomas Cribbs reported Erica Johnson, 18, of Hinesville turned herself in Wednesday morning.
She has been charged with aggravated assault for allegedly shooting Kimya Spates, also 18 and of Hinesville, early Saturday outside El Rancho restaurant on West Oglethorpe Highway.
Cribbs said witnesses reported an argument between Spates and Johnson ended when Johnson allegedly produced a hand gun and fired once at Spates.
The last report on her condition was that she was stable at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah over the weekend.
Johnson reportedly went before a magistrate judge Wednesday and her bond was set at $10,000.
