Single parents of the Hinesville Housing Authority recently enjoyed a night of pampering at a single parents banquet held in the Regency Park Community Room. The event was organized and hosted by Rivers of Living Waters Outreach Ministries.

“We decided to do the event to build the morale and confidence of the single parents,” said Shantel Frazier, administrator of Rivers of Living Waters Outreach Ministries, Inc. “The event was designed to be a time of refreshing, appreciation and inspiration for the single parents, fathers and mothers.”

The attendees were given a chance to fellowship with other single parents with food, games, door prizes and more. The parents said they were happy that something was done specifically for them and they would like to see more events take place for single parents to network.

“Rivers of Living Waters has been a collaborative partner with the Hinesville Housing Authority and Hineshouse Property Management & Maintenance Services for more than five years,” said Melanie Thompson, CEO of the Hinesville Housing Authority. “We look forward to further developing relationships with community partners to serve our residents and give back to the community.”

Rivers of Living Waters plans to continue working with the Hinesville Housing Authority to serve the single parents and other groups as well as host additional outreach programs that will help to enrich those in need.

Rivers of Living Waters Outreach Ministries, Inc. is a non-denominational organization, not bound to religious programs or services. According to the website, the organizations mission is to equip and train individuals through weekly services using the word of God. Rivers of Living Waters works to accomplish this through various outreaches, personal testimonies and demonstrating love to everyone, according to  Pastor Terrell Frazier.
