“I was at the Chamber breakfast and heard the current BOE chair speak. Does she think we are all stupid or does she believe all those things she said about herself? She said she “goes along with the 4 BOE members voting because they are the majority” but she is that fourth vote! She is breaking the tie and making the final decision every time. She has got to go!”

“I’d like to know when Kenneth Howard is moving into the city limits (as per the mandatory requirements for city manager) or is the council going to rewrite that ordinance too?”

“For voters who are wondering, 5th District board of education candidate Chante Baker-Martin is the daughter of Herman and Sarah Baker of Midway. She and Lilly Baker are not related!”

“To the person upset regarding District 3 city council member Vicki Nelson, he/she is right. Don’t fix just where she lives but the rest of the district. Come re-election time, just vote her out if things don’t change or, better yet, go to city council meetings and confront her.”

“The new version of the webpage is a disaster. There is no structure or organization to it. Also the URL provided to do this Soundoff does not exist according to both my workstation and my iPhone. This is an absolute mess.”

“My child has been participating in Liberty County Recreation Department about little over two years. Some of the volunteer coaches are disrespectful to the kids. So I will be going to the YMCA next year.”

“Liberty County High School needs a new principal and staff. They are not supporting the students like they are paid to do! Board member Mrs. Keel, keep up the good work. But I would not trust Marcus Scott.”
