St. James gives back with dinner
St James
Chef Windell Singleton and St. James Community Center fed more than 175 dinners as part of Operation Giveback in November.

The 10th Annual Operation Giveback to the community Thanksgiving Dinner was held on Nov. 17. The event was held at the St. James Community Center for the senior citizens.

Chef Windell Singleton served over 175 dinners.

In honor of those who participated, Chef Windell would like to give thanks to the Lake George Fire Department.

The Spiritual Believers Gospel Group bought in the holiday cheer with beautiful gospel songs.

St. James would also like to thank our special guests, Midway Mayor Levern Clancy Jr. and Mayoress Clancy.

St. James looks forward to next year’s event.  Volunteers and donations will be accepted and greatly appreciated.

The group thanked everyone that helped made this event a success, including serving committee members Denise Fabian and Rena Anderson for helping serve the dinners.

This event sponsors were Pastor Edna Walthour, County Commissioner Gary Gillard, Bro. E.J. Robertson and Chef Singleton.
