Adele fans stormed social media at the end of last week to praise the singer's latest single, "Hello, and express anticipation for her third studio album slated for release later this month.

However, if Adele's recent Rolling Stone interview indicates anything, it's that her admirers also might have someone else to thank.

And who might that be?

It's Angelo, her 3-year-old son, Eun Kyung Kim wrote for Today. Because without his birth, Adele admitted she may have never returned to the recording studio.

"I don't know if I would've come back had I not had my kid," the British songstress told Rolling Stone, according to Today.

Daniela Cabrera wrote for Bustle the timing of Angelo's birth proved crucial for Adele's career: She said in the recent interview she struggled to adjust to the massive success of "21" her sophomore album. In addition, vocal cord surgery made her think she'd "lost control of her life."

Those factors made Adele fearful, Bustle reported. And Angelo took away that fear.

"When I had him, it made everything all right, and I trusted everything because the world had given me this miracle, you know, so I became a bit of a hippie, an Earth mother," Adele told Rolling Stone, Bustle reported.

Adele admitted giving birth presented some "artistic challenges," Nick Maslow wrote for People magazine.

For one, the buildup to the new album, "25," slated for a Nov. 20 release, has taken away some of her time with Angelo, which she feels bad about, according to People.

Still, Adele told Rolling Stone, Angelo is her "boss," Proma Khosla wrote for Mashable. Adele said that's a rarity even in her work life.

"He's a little angel," Mashable quoted Adele as saying. "All the things I really like about myself, he brings out in me, and he's the only person that tells me no. He completely rules me. He's the boss of me, and it's so funny for other people to watch, because I'm the boss of everything in my work life."

According to Mashable, Adele said with the slew of tasks motherhood brings, she'll "never be on my own again."

And with Angelo in tow, Adele's "Hello" broke several records, moving more than 1 million units in a week, Joseph Neese wrote for MSNBC.
